    Does anyone know what street Jean LaFitte's hideout is on???

    Does anyone know what street Jean LaFitte's hideout is on???

     

    It is on Harborside between 14th and 15th Streets. It is surrounded by a chain link fence and there is a state historical marker there. The foundation you see there is not Lafitte's house, but a house that was built there later.

    Darn! I always thought that that was the original foundation. But I didn't check for charring on the top of it when I checked it out.
