The weather was great! I saw some interesting sights while biking (the pedal kind) on the sea wall Saturday and Sunday. It got even more interesting Saturday night when we walked the Strand before heading out to a Halloween party. Everyone I encountered was polite. People seemed to be having a good time. My neighbor was complaining about the noise, but to me it seemed that riders were not cutting through our neighborhood like they did in years past.

I gotta say , the men seem to be gentlemen , as much as a man can anyway... it's the women that are total skanks. not all ofcourse. But dang

one thing i witnessed that just brought tears to my eyes , was an eldery overweight man was on a personal mobility scooter cruising on the sidewalk on 61st. as he attempted to  make his way across a side street he tipped over. 3 bikes (not riding together) all pulled their bikes over to help this man, who by the way , was okay.

another observation was the amount of religous biker groups ,Jesus got a whole slew of those guys riding for him!

and last but not least , I also noticed a group of deaf bikersHuh?

many of them had patches that read

    * loud pipes save lives * call me a lifesaver thenStick out tongue
