We toured her yesterday.  She's beautiful and the crew was quite gracious to us.  You can tour today, tomorrow and Tuesday.  They are planning to leave port at noon on Wednesday...and RUMOR has it that The Elissa will escort her to sea.

That should be a beautiful sight! I hope someone gets a photo of that and post it. Yes, the seaman all looked so handsome in their uniforms.

I'll remember to take my 300mm lens when I take the tour.

Sorry but Elissa will not be escorting The Elcano to sea. Plans are to have her reopened to the public on Wednesday.

We toured her today at noon.  Wind was blowing a full gale.  Talk about blowing your skirt up! Congealed my lizard blood, but It was worth it.  That's a very interesting ship.  Never been on a vessel like that one before.  The tour was well worth braving that wind.  I recommend it.
