&lt;p&gt;Galveston is an island refuge where Texan’s go to escape life as normal.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Which leads to…&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Stories about the people - not just the Moody’s, Mitchell’s, or Fertitta’s - but all of the colorful islanders that make this sandbar hum with an eclectic vibration that soothes your soul, sucks you in and makes you want to stay.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;How was that?&lt;/p&gt;
