The Park Board has agreed to give Meghan Nash a one-year lease on this local east-end institution that has been in her family for over 50 years!!

However, the business must be shut down while she applies for a new liquor license, so the celebration planned for Saturday night (10 May) has been canceled.

We will let you know when Nash's re-opens.

Thanks for the update.  I really hope these sisters can keep this 50 year old establishment open!!  Nash's is an A++ for Galveston.

Almost hard to believe the Park Board actually listened to the citizens of Galveston!!

Nash's bait camp is on Boddecker Drive.  Drive out as far east as you can go, take a right and (like going towards East Beach) and Nash's will be on the left hand side of Boddecker.

It was still closed last time I was down there. Any news on the re-opening?

Not yet.

I’m still waiting to get the word from Tomz Katz. They will be playing at the Grand Re-Opening!
