Saltwater Grill, mm-mm good

I had the opportunity to dine at Saltwater over the weekend, and it was a treat.  I know I "should" have had fish, but I was feeling carnivorous and could not resist the filet, which was done to perfection.  I got to steal a bite of the special, which was grilled snapper covered with a cream sauce and all manner of little sea critters, and it was s-o-o-o good!  I have been to Saltwater numerous times and so far have not been disappointed.  Try the Apple Cider salad, but have someone to share it with because it is huge.

Have not yet, but will soon.  The food is great.  I love the corn and crab chowder.

Ditto on the chowder and apple cider salad. Crab cakes are excellent.

I must mention the outstanding wait staff. They are incredible! My hubby said that their dry martini was delicious. Next time I'm there, I would like to give their chocolate martini a whirl.

I agree. We had an excellent waiter the other night.  Attentive but not too much, great sense of humor, able to tune in with our group. Made the evening much more enjoyable.

Anyone here the rumor that Glass Wall Restaurant from the Houston Heights area is set to open in Galveston?
